i get a do over on thursday nites

this is great, altho its killing me on friday mornings!  Back when i was in elementary school,late "50s on saturday nites when the then late news went off, about 10:30there was 1 channel that showed these old black and white monster movies, creature from the black lagoon etc. well mom & dad would go to bed, leave myself and little sister with a blanket a bowl of popcorn and a cup of hot choc. in a darke living room and let us stay up. well sis would usually hurry the drink and go to bed at the first hint of a scary scene! Leaving me alone to watch and ill admit that i remember hideing my eyes sometimes but i was big brother,I had to stay up and watch so i could give the movie a review the next morning. Back the there were only 3 channels and the monster movie was usually the last to go off air leaveing you with a test pattern untill about 6:30 am! those were fun times! Well TCM has started re-running those old movies on thursday nights and i watch and it takes me back. Only now their not scary, just so dumb i laff at the way i acted some 50yrs ago! Yea iv got one on now, I think its called X THE UNKNOWN! lol and yea its 12:30 but terror from outer space comes on in 30min. last week i went to bed and turned em on in there and fell asleep during the creature from the haunted sea. darn i wanted to see that too! last thing i remember were giant creatures walking into high voltage power lines, people running down streets waving arms and screeming, 50s cars crashing into fire hydrants, well i guess i crashed too, when i woke up the next morning the tv wa still on. Of course i had turned it down so i wouldnt disturb Anita. Of course now we have here about 100 cable channels on 24 hrs a day and still nothing to watch, I think Anita and I have about  4 discovery channels we watch, a couple of nat.geo, 2 science,2 history, we watch and learn all the things that I should have paid attention to in high school! On the other hand, if i had payed attention back then and learned i wouldnt be intrested now and id be bored and more grouchy! Iv got a lot of sports channels, i think theres 1 for every sport known to mankind!      Anita is not a sports fan so i have this room just around the corner from the den i call man cave "B" where i watch football,nascar sportcenter and all the sports talk shows, Oh man cave "A" is the garage but its been just to hot to hang out and tinker. It was showing 103 out there today in the shade! well terror from space is comeing on in 5min, Anita is asleep so im gonna grab a beer& a cigar & a bag of chips and lean back and relive my childhood! except i didnd have a beer & cigar in my childhood,Ha Ha!

I am offically off the grid, the US goverment knows nothing about me, I am dead to them! my mistake! recently i let my drivers license expire by 1 day, because i had a class A cdl with all the stff so i could drive pretty much anything, i had all the endorsements so i could drive a buss or haul gasoline, I had it! But i expired by 1 day. so i went to the hiway patrol office(which is where ya have to go here) so they can re-do the background check. well they wanted a copy of my birth certificate, so i took a copy and that wasnt good enough, they wanted a certified copy, so i lookes into that and to get a certified copy of the birth certificate ya need a valid picture ID, well since my DL expired by 1 day i dont have that, So i went to get just an ID, well to get that ya have to have a valid Pic Id!???? so im screwed its a vicious circle that ya caint get out of. Just a few months ago i was licensed to drive any vehicle invented and now i caint drive a car? Fortunatly there is a convience store a block away that i walk to and stand in line behind people who drove there and caint speak english buying lottery tickets! Oklahoma is a wierd state, local cops i believe are on the take, well lets put it this way, yea im a little slow in getting stuff done, Tags, license plates, but if have learned to speed it up and get on time. let me try to put that in  real life time as i see it. I drove a community action bus for 5yrs. this town is 3 sq miles top to bottom, side to side, there were times that i put 100 miles on the bus and never left the city limits, i see things in that amount of travel that are happening, High school kids comeing out of a house in a neighborood they dont live or shouldnt be in. I know whats going on there but the poliece dont??????? give me a break!!! and i wasnt the only bus driver that had seen this in various parts of town, We know, but the cops dont??? which takes me back to my original train of thought( and thats hard to do) Yes i was lazy and slow in the past. I got stoped by the Ok hiway patrol because my tag was outta date. got a warning ticket to get it fixed. got stopped by a city cop the same day for the same thing, told em i was gonna take care of it tomorrow, well i was aressted and spent the nite in jail for the same thing i got a warning ticket on for OHP. thats the thing in this city, just my opinion but if your selling drugs, slap on the wrist, but if your car tags outta date, your going to jail buddy, thats failure to pay taxes due the state!!!!!! Ok i better shut up, i told ya i was gonna rant,lol

Well ill be darned, Iv done it! with the hep of my lovely Anita"s niece iv got my own blog, Thank you Sarah! Before i start anything everyone should know I will never win a spelling bee! sometimes i spell like they sound, not the correct spelling. Ya just have to forgive me for that, thats the way it is. In the comeing days I may Rant and Rave about everything from politics to sports to the weather, never take anything i say seriously. Remember grouchy old men say what they want when they want and embarase their faimly at every chance! Told ya my spelling sucked!  If by chance i make anybody mad, just remember if ya caint take it dont dish it out, well i love takeing it so I love dishing it out!! I will rant about most anything but someones religion, i wont go there. As long as you have a beliefe in something then good for you. I have my own beliefs, i wont try to push mine on you and vice/versa, lets just leave that alone. Well now that iv got it, im looking forward to followers and comments, Good nite All!
